I have it turned on,I have the coffee and water in it. No coffee is brewing.
Most better machines will have some safeties to prevent brewing all over your counter. Take off the coffee basket & reseat it firmly. Make sure any locking levers/latches are set to the proper positions. Make sure the carafe is in the right spot.
