Why has my stovetop moka coffee maker suddenly stopped working?
Everything seems to work fine except the water is not coming up to brew the coffee. Plenty of steam. Cleaned/cleared the screen, the water pipe part, everything looks fine. Worked one day and just didn't the next. Any ideas?
The rubber gasket may have dried and be too old to be effective. If so it should be replaced. An old gasket will break the necessary seal for steam to rise.
Check the pressure relief valve to make sure it looks okay. It it's not working,
