The two-victory Timberwolves are back to struggling, but not nearly as much as the winless Wizards, who play host to Minnesota this afternoon in Washington.

"For us, it's a huge game just because we haven't been able to scratch one out yet," Wizards coach Flip Saunders said Saturday.

It'll be a huge game for the Wolves, too, who have lost two straight, to Memphis and Cleveland.

Saunders, a former Timberwolves coach, is in the third season of a $19 million, four-year contract in Washington. The 0-7 Wizards are the only NBA team without a victory.

"We've had a rough schedule," said Saunders, 56, a former Gophers guard who lives in Medina. "We've played some pretty good teams. We've had Boston twice, Orlando, Atlanta and New York. We were up big against New Jersey and should have won and let it get away.
